Lisa De Souter works as a PhD researcher at the Laboratory of Pharmaceutical Process Analytical Technology (LPPAT) at Ghent University, under supervision of Prof. Thomas De Beer and Prof. Ashish Kumar. She obtained a master's degree in Drug Development and Industrial Pharmacy before starting her PhD where she is researching how to enable scale-flexible process development for continuous solid-dosage manufacturing. Her expertise includes tabletting processes, material characterization, PAT implementation and formulation development/optimization.
