Laurens Leys is a PhD student at Ghent University under the supervision of Professor Thomas De Beer in the Pharmaceutical Process Analytical Techniques Laboratory (LPPAT). His research focuses on the newest developments in (continuous) freeze-drying, more specifically secondary drying. Additionally, he mentors 2nd-year bachelor students in pharmaceutical sciences for the practical course on Physicochemistry, Analysis, and Quality of Pharmaceuticals.
