CESPE Academy - Twin Screw Granulation 101
Description
This 2-day course focusses on giving a thorough introduction on twin screw processing. Two different aspects will be covered: twin screw wet granulation and hot melt granulation. During this course, the basic and fundamental aspects of these two techniques will be clearly explained. This includes the principle of the technique and which quality end product is intended to obtain. Next to that, the influence of process and formulation parameters on the final product quality will be explained. Finally, theory will be transformed to practice to gain more insight in the process. In the last ½ day, use-cases will be handled, going into more details about specific aspects of the granulation process.
This course is divided into three separate modules:
- Module 1: Basic course: Introduction to twin screw wet granulation (1- day)
- Module 2: Basic course: Introduction to twin screw hot-melt granulation (1/2-day)
- Module 3: Specialized courses (1/2- day)

Additional information
- One week prior to the course, the registered participants will receive further information (directions, parking availabilities, course material).
- Upon completion of the training, a certificate of attendance will be made available on the platform.
- Additionally, the participant will receive an evaluation form to provide feedback on this training.
Annulation/Cancelation
Registration is possible up to one week before the day of the respective session.
Registrations can only be canceled by email, up to one week before the day of the respective course. After that, the full registration fee will still be due in case of cancellation.
A participant unable to attend can always be replaced by a colleague or can request a voucher for a similar training on a later date!
A minimum attendance of 5 participants is required to conduct the training. Otherwise the organization reserves the right to reschedule or cancel the training!
