Dana Copot received the Ph.D. degree in May 2018 from Ghent University in Biomedical Engineering. Currently she is the recipient of the prestigious Flanders Research Foundation grant for post-doctoral fellows at the same university. In the last 4 years she continued her research in the field of biomedical engineering, i.e., closed-loop control of anesthesia, but also broaden her expertise to the area of process control. Industrial relevant implementations of model predictive control and multi-objective optimization algorithms as a function of changing operating context make the scope of her current interest
